The Project
After the acquisition of a smaller organisation, Save the Children wanted to combine one of their programs with a similar program of it’s own to create a single flagship program. The stakeholders wanted a fun, approachable design that would visually united all the program locations, build the program brand and capitalise on previous work to create cost efficiencies.
The Solution
We created a logo and supporting brand elements that combined the best of both organisations, while keeping a youthful and welcoming tone that would appeal to children and families.
Brand guidelines, editable templates, uniforms and signage were also created. The illustrations were designed to be modified to suit the specific demographic for each program site while still being easily identifiable as Play2Learn.
My Role
I was responsible for the logo creation and art direction for collateral design and supporting illustration. I also wrote the guidelines and helped set up procedures for brand governance and collateral approvals.
